America

Pandora K.
3/25/2015

America the place of opportunity,
The place to raise a family,
the place for stability.

America, the place of hope,
rekindling,
and education.

America today,
Of the twenty first  century,
Loss of jobs,
People on the streets,
Education means nothing,
Hard to impress,
Hard to build a family,
Hard to feed anyone.

America today,
Governmental Schemes,
Blind eyes everywhere.
No one thinks of the country,
Only their little worlds.

America today,
Will be America's down fall in the future.

Hypothesis

Adaptation - A change or the process of change by which an organism or species becomes better suited to it's environment; tested by nature.

What if humans were put on Earth as a test for animals, to see if they could survive through mankind. if you think about in other ways aside from anatomy basics, we are very different then animals.

  • We cannot adapt
  • We change our surrounds to suit or own needs
  • We are always the predator

"Memories can be vile, repulsive little brutes. Like children I suppose. But can we live without them? Memories are what our reason is based upon. If we can't face them, we deny reason itself! Although, why not? We aren't contractually tied down to rationality! So when you find yourself locked onto an unpleasant train of thought, heading for the places in your past where the screaming is unbearable, remember there's always madness. Madness is the emergency exit. You can just step outside, and close the door on all those dreadful things that happened. You can lock them away...forever."

A Little Story Clip that Popped in my Mind

I'm so nervous I have to concentrate on my breaths. In through the nose and out through the mouth. The attendant pins a a wisp of hair from her face and smooths out her skirt.
"Are you ready Ms. Clemons?"
What will she say when that door opens? Will she recognize me or will she just think I'm a new client. Oh no my feet are going numb, but it's now or never.
"Yes, I I'm ready."
And with that the attendant opens the the door. The air being sucked away making it impossible to breathe.
A petite woman with black hair sits in her chair reading and flipping papers. She glances up and with a swift motion stands up with a hand held out.
"Have we met?" She questions lightly with a curious tone.
I don't say anything. My numb feet now glued to the floor, I just stare at her. She is beautiful. Her greens eyes sparkle in a ray of sun that escapes a barrier gray curtains.
"I think so," is all that comes from my mouth.
